About this Blog
To be human. This is a journey each of us are on more or less consciously. This blog is my attempt to rediscover, welcome, and share my full self. This journey for me at least begins with reflection and is nurtured by consciousness. At the end of the day, I believe we are meant to live deeply spiritual lives rooted in the muck and mire of ordinary embodied human existence.
I come at this from a Christian perspective and am currently interested in the ways our technological society shape the church and Christians. On a broader note, I am interested in what Christian tradition has to say about what it means to be human and to live a common life together. Finally, I grew up on a farm and realize much of my perspective in life continues to be formed by those early formative experiences. This blog will undoubtedly overshare about those experiences and how I continue to be shaped by the deep connection I feel to the land.

About the author:
I am the husband to a wonderful wife and father of an incredible toddler. Together, we serve in an apartment ministry and are trying to figure out this whole adult life thing. I have multiple jobs including, Window Washing, Online College Professor, Sprinkler Maintenance, Event Planner, and until very recently, worked at our church part-time as a Church Planting Resident. I love filling lots of roles, but at my core I am a small-town farm boy who loves to think deeply, shepherd wisely and teach others through embodying the way of Jesus together. I pray you are encouraged or challenged by what you encounter here.
